About
We want to take context-based error diagnostics to the next level. To achieve this, we are currently looking for additional customers for paid pilot projects. A valuable first step was the funding of our AutoML subproject by Mission KI and the BMDV. As automation advances, production systems and lines are becoming increasingly complex. Consequently, maintenance and troubleshooting after a shutdown are becoming more time-consuming and challenging. The shortage of qualified personnel exacerbates the issue. With CPSlytics and OMA-ML, we have already conducted successful research. Now, we’ve combined the strengths of both to develop an even better product. We can connect your Industry 4.0 production line within a few days. Let’s work together to ensure that your skilled personnel can continue to maintain and troubleshoot your production lines in the future, regardless of the ever-growing complexity of the systems.
The team.
As doctoral candidates, we shared the same advisor, Prof. Dr. Bernhard Humm. In his AI research group, we tackle AI-related challenges daily, striving to unite applied research, theory, and practice. Our research topics were designed from the outset to have industrial applications. Together, we want to build the production of tomorrow, today. Let’s turn unplanned downtime into productive uptime, together.
Dr. Lukas Kaupp
Expert in Context-Aware Fault Diagnosis
Dr. Lukas Kaupp is a lecturer, Manager of the Research Center for Applied Computer Science and research associate at hessian.ai. He was recently awarded a Ph.D. degree in computer sciences for the defense of his dissertation on context-aware fault diagnosis in smart manufacturing. His research focuses on on AI-based fault diagnosis in cyber-physical systems in Industry 4.0 smart factories. He has published at international conferences and journals on artificial intelligence, machine learning, visual analytics and outlier detection. For him, the expert is one of the most valuable resources and should be supported to succeed under the new processes of Industry 4.0.
Expert in Ontology-based Meta Automated Machine Learning
Alexander Zender comes from a family of entrepreneurs and is a doctoral student at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences. As part of the Competence Center for Work and AI, he is researching ontology-based Meta Automated Machine Learning (OMA-ML). With his international publications in the field of AI, automated machine learning and hybrid AI, he is a renowned expert. His personally developed IoT devices and cloud infrastructures in the field of electrical engineering are already being used by well-known companies. Through these activities, he had several international trade fair appearances early on. Through the family business, he also has experience in company management.
