The Kauzen Project
Your modern machines and production lines are interconnected, highly integrated and complex. Due to complexity fault diagnosis in case of a fault is cumbersome and time-consuming. Unfortunately, unexpected downtime due to programming, wear, machine errors or disruptions is unavoidable.
Our solution: Kauzen, the AI-assisted context-aware fault diagnosis system for continuous status monitoring. All messages (data, processes, parameters, notifications and procedures) from your facility are monitored and analyzed in-house. The status is continuously drawn on a human-friendly cockpit. Here, the cockpit displays a traffic light: Green: OK; Yellow: Status changes; Red: potential fault detected.
As a benefit for you, our system is pre-installed by us and commissioned on-site. Your data does not leave your production environment. Hereby, Kauzen is purely passive and only reads your production status.

What is Kauzen?
As part of Mission KI, we are developing an AutoML library for the automated generation of industry-grade autoencoders. The goal is to optimize the analysis of complex and heterogeneous datasets and provide scalable solutions for industrial applications. This subproject significantly contributes to the further development of our context-aware fault diagnosis system Kauzen and establishes the technological foundation for future innovations in industrial AI.
What is the Product?
An AI assistance system for rapid fault localization in modern production environments. Employees can efficiently identify and resolve the cause of unexpected production downtimes through a simple traffic light display (red, yellow, green).
What is an unexpected downtime in manufacturing?
Machines are highly complex, and as such prone to faults. Wear, inefficient programming, maintenance errors, disruptions caused by different precursor products, or incorrect operation lead to disturbances and thus to the shutdown of the equipment.
How does the AI find the origin of the fault?
The AI monitors the traffic between the machines/production systems and detects anomalies that are related to possible sources.
Does AI intervene in my production?
No, the AI assistance system is only passive and reads the production bus.
What are the requirements to use the product?
Your machine / production system works with an Industry 4.0 bus, e.g. OPC UA.
What advantages do I have?
The time required for fault diagnosis can be reduced during unexpected downtime, disruptions and breakdowns. This enables your production team to troubleshoot issues more efficiently, allowing production to resume more quickly. As a result, the availability of your plants increases.

We are looking for machine manufacturers, production companies, component manufacturers, and partners in the field of automation. First, we install our product on-site at our partner’s facility. The company then tests the product and supports us by providing the collected data. Together, we develop a tailored sales model.
